    • We’ll confirm any timeline or cost impacts before work proceeds.

  • Life happens - we honor your time and ours.

    • Client changes: Please cancel/reschedule 24+ hours in advance. Late cancellations incur a $50 fee.

    • Missed appointments: A $50 inconvenient fee is added to continue services.

  • We keep projects flowing while staying fair and transparent.

    • Non‑response/ Abandoned (Paused): If there’s no reply after 3 contact attempts, the project is marked Abandoned (Paused) for scheduling purposes.

    • 90‑day hold: We maintain project status (and any client‑owned items in our care for alterations/repairs) for 90 days from the last completed service/attempted contact.

    • 30‑day final notice: If still unresponsive, we send a final 30‑day notice to the email and phone number on file. (For client‑owned garments held for alterations/repairs, we also send a mailed notice to the last known address to meet Maryland requirements.)

    After the notice window:

    • Custom builds (TEP‑purchased materials): The project closes; deposits and special‑order materials remain non‑refundable.

    • Client‑owned garments (alterations/repairs): Items may be sold or disposed of consistent with Maryland artisan’s‑lien rules; proceeds cover costs and any surplus is returned to the owner.

    • Reinstatement: To resume after “Abandoned (Paused)” or after closure, a reinstatement fee, new deposit, and updated invoice are required; timelines are subject to current availability.

    • Fairness First: If you’re facing a verified hardship (e.g., medical emergency, disaster), let us know—we’ll pause deadlines and work with you in good faith.

  • Let’s get acquainted! We offer video, phone, or in-person consultations - your choice. We’ll discuss vision, timeline, budget, and next steps so your experience feels effortless from the start.
